Mr. Electric® Revs Up to Help Ronald McDonald House Charities® with Custom Chopper Sweepstakes

What do a cherished national charity, a coast-to-coast electrical services provider and the throaty roar of a custom chopper have in common? From now till July 15, 2009, the franchise family at Mr. Electric wants you to find out!

Mr. Electric, North America’s largest residential and commercial electrical service and repair provider, is joining hands with Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) and Martin Brothers Bikes to raise funds and increase public awareness of the important work done by RMHC. A sweepstakes contest for a custom chopper from Martin Brothers Bikes tops the deal for fans of both a worthy cause and awesome rides.

Whether it’s finding a way for families to stay together when a child is undergoing treatment in another city, or helping to provide access to basic medical and dental care in under-served communities, the programs provided by Ronald McDonald House Charities® help support more than 3.7 million children worldwide each year. RMHC provides a home away from home for children and their families while the child is treated for serious, often life- threatening illnesses.

Local Ronald McDonald House Charity chapters have been established in 52 countries and regions around the world. These Chapters create unique offerings to address the needs of children and families in their regions. They’ve built sports centers for disabled children, sensory rooms for children with cognitive and physical disabilities and developed other innovative ways to help change children’s lives.

“Teaming up with RMHC was a natural fit for us, with their focus on assisting children and families’ medical care,” said Jeff Meyers, President of Mr. Electric. “The Mr. Electric franchise family feels strongly about being an active member of the communities we serve and giving back to the people who trust us with their electrical services needs.”

Mr. Electric franchises across the country are pitching in to help sell tickets and support the work done by RMHC. Tickets are $25 each and may be purchased online at
